Charleston Export Consolidation Service Update

Important information regarding transit times for our weekly Charleston export consolidation service.

Please be advised of an industry-wide update, where effective immediately, the transit time for our weekly Charleston export consolidation service will be adjusted from 10 days to 18 days.

This change is due to adjustments made by the mainline carrier to their vessel rotation and UK port of call, impacting all service providers on this route. These adjustments include a change in vessel rotation and a shift in their UK port of call from London Gateway to Southampton. Previously, London Gateway was the final European port of call before transatlantic crossing. The revised schedule now includes calls at Hamburg and Rotterdam after Southampton, resulting in the increased transit time.

We understand that this change may require adjustments to your shipping plans. We are working diligently to minimise any potential impact and committed to supporting you through this transition.

For time-sensitive shipments, we also offer a 10-day service via New York. Due to variations in sailing dates, the delivery time difference compared to the Charleston service may be around 5 days. Please contact your local Woodland representative to discuss your specific needs and confirm current schedules.

To understand how this change might affect your specific shipments or for any further questions, please contact your local Woodland representative or a member of the team here.
