Its newly increased score now places Woodland Group in the top 4% of EcoVadis assessed companies.

This achievement highlights Woodland Group’s continued commitment to sustainable business practices and its ongoing work in improving not only its own but also its clients’ processes to meet ambitious environmental, social and governance goals. Woodland Group’s latest sustainability report highlights not only the work done thus far but also relevant future initiatives and projects that will facilitate further sustainable development.

At Woodland Group, we have seen a significant increase in awareness and interest in sustainable practices. A growing number of companies have requested our EcoVadis assessment scores, whether in tenders or on an ongoing basis, and we provide automatic updates on our annual scores to a total of 60 companies thus far. Companies are receiving updates via industry membership bodies or ask for our scores manually each year. Woodland has scored highly across EcoVadis’ 4 pillars of environment, labour & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement across the board. Alongside this, we have advanced our sustainability efforts by introducing HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) fuel for our delivery fleets. This initiative allows nearly 15% of the fuel used by the 140-strong vehicle fleet to be green fuel.
