Carbon Calculator
Whether weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, we help deliver business carbon footprint reports and guidance to optimise and reduce a supply chain’s footprint.
As part of Woodland Group’s continuing investment into ‘carbon-conscious’ solutions, we are proud to launch our new carbon calculator, offering regular emission reports of shipments, no matter the size or route.
Our free calculator tool builds on the already well-established carbon footprint reporting of our own fleet and determines energy consumption,
greenhouse gases
While accredited by Smart Freight Centre to be in accordance with the GLEC Framework, it also meets the requirements of EN 16258 and the GHG protocol (Corporate Standard) and is one of the most sophisticated emission calculators available in supply chain management.
Included in calculations are the transport distances, energy consumption, greenhouse gases
CO2
TTW describes the emissions produced throughout the actual transport (fuel consumption and processing depending on the type and category of the vehicle, plane, ship or train, fuel quality used and emissions classification by country worldwide).
Our Carbon Calculator offering automatically determines transfer points for ports, airports & railway stations, includes network-specific attributes, such as street category or electrification and automatically detects stopovers based on the flight number.
“Global greenhouse gas emissions of domestic and international transportation tripled between 1995 and 2012 and are estimated to rise by 60% between 2015 and 2050. Reporting data on emissions and providing further transparency to our customers’ supply chain will be key in reducing our industry’s carbon footprint and a vital step in our continued efforts to provide carbon-conscious solutions. We’re encouraging partners and suppliers around the globe to join us in offering this tool to customers and to work together to make a positive impact worldwide.”
