Woodland Group are recruiting an Warehouse Administrator for our team in Doncaster. Reporting to and working with the General Manager and Warehouse Supervisors the Office Administrator will also work closely with the warehouse operations team to ensure the consistently effective operation of the warehouse administration office. The Warehouse Administrator is expected to follow and develop robust administration processes, including constant adherence to all related legislation, health and safety regulations, Company/Customer policies, procedures and instructions.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (37.5hrs)

About the job:

Front desk duties, dealing with drivers etc. Assist the Warehouse Supervisors in the Allocation of responsibilities to Warehouse Operatives across all shifts and in line with schedules; and

Resolution of any shift issues associated with unloading & loading of cargo and bay control.

Ensure all necessary records are kept up to date and accurate, including receipt of all deliveries.

Transport coordination, working closely with the Transport Department.

Prepare all manifests in a timely manner.

Ensure charges for devanned containers are put through the system and that spreadsheets are updated accordingly.

Undertake reworks and put through the associated charges.

Support Woodland drivers with the completion of necessary paperwork and downloads as and when required; Communicate effectively with all warehouse staff, to create strong professional relationships.

Any other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

Work with the Warehouse team to continually improve processes and business performance.

Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward; and

Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.

Achieving agreed individual objectives; and

Understanding and adhering to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role.
