The Holidays are coming, but Essex & Herts Air Ambulance will still be flying this Christmas!
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT)'s festive message is travelling far and wide, delivered by Woodland Group on a specially designed lorry, sharing the spirit of the season while raising awareness of the life-saving charity.
One of Woodland Group's chosen charity partners, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT), are spreading festive cheer across the UK while reminding everyone that Santa isn’t the only one flying this holiday season. EHAAT’s festive message is travelling far and wide, delivered by Woodland Group on a specially designed lorry, sharing the spirit of the season while raising awareness of the life-saving charity.
We invite members of the public to join the fun by spotting the festive lorry, taking a photo (safely), and sharing it on social media. To participate, simply tag @EHAAT_ and include the location in your post.
This year, Woodland Group are sponsoring EHAAT’s festive fundraising campaign which features a range of activities to bring communities together including 'Visit Santa' at EHAAT’s airbases at Earls Colne and North Weald, Lights for Flights where supporters decorate their homes with dazzling light displays and other festive themed fundraising events such as pub quizzes.
John Stubbings, Group Director & Company Secretary from Woodland Group, says:
“We are proud to support EHAAT and help spread their vital message during the festive season. Together, we’re raising awareness and encouraging communities to get involved in supporting this incredible cause.”
Stacey Wilson, EHAAT Fundraising Manager, adds:
“This Christmas, we’re celebrating the incredible support from our community and partners like Woodland Group, who make our life-saving work possible. The holidays are a wonderful time to come together, have fun, and make a real difference for a charity that’s there for you 365 days a year.”
The holiday season is a time for giving, and EHAAT relies on the generosity of local communities and businesses across Essex and Hertfordshire to keep its emergency pre-hospital service running 24/7, including Christmas Day. This Christmas, whether it’s through spotting the festive lorry, visiting Santa, or hosting a fundraising event, join us in supporting EHAAT as they count on its community to help keep its life-saving service flying.
